Stay & Play Friday mornings during term time, 10:00 - 11:30 am, at the chapel. Welcome to our Toddler Group. We currently have two play spaces: the downstairs hall we set up for the sleepers, sitters, crawlers and totterers the upstairs hall has toys for toddlers and pre-schoolers and a craft table where we provide a different craft each week In the summer, we also use the garden at the church. We sit on rugs for our snacks, use the slide and climbing frame and have lots of ride-on toys. The toys and crafts are available all morning and we all gather together at around 11.20 a.m. to do some singing. There are lots of action songs and the children love to dance and sing. We serve tea and coffee from 10.15 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then a snack and juice at around 11.20 a.m. We celebrate birthdays at snack time too! We ask for a contribution of £1.50 each week. All our helpers are volunteers, so we use the money to provide drinks, snacks, crafts and lots of toys. We have a number of nannies and care-givers, as well as mums, and sometimes dads, bringing children from a few weeks old to school-age. In the summer we arrange a trip for the whole group and three or four times a year we organize a night out for the mums.
